About department :

Home Economics subject is a optional subject in Arts faculty, starts from year 2008 It provides a platform for students who wish to purse management of households taking up creative careers as well as use their knowledge of diet and lifestyle as a career path. It is a degree course that includes study of many disciplines such as health and hygiene Human Development, Art, Food and Nutrition, Clothing and Textiles, Home Management At the culumination of the course, the students can either seek jobs, self employment or opt for masters programs in Home Economics.

  • To make aware about decision making and to enhance the decision making of the women.
  • To develop employability skills and the skill of ‘Earning while Learning.’
  • To motivate students for self employment.

Mission :

  • To provide inexpensive educational services to urban students ,inspire to all the section of society to get expertise skills in Home Economics.
