विमेन्स कॉलेज मध्ये वार्षिक क्रीडा महोत्सव साजरा

वैदर्भीय महिला संस्थेच्या विमेन्स कॉलेज ऑफ आर्ट्स अँड कॉमर्स, नंदनवन, नागपूर मध्ये वार्षिक क्रीडा महोत्सव मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आला. या विशेष दिवशी संस्थेच्या अध्यक्षा सौ. सावित्री रोकडे यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती होती. अध्यक्ष्या आणि महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. एन. आर. दीक्षित यांच्या हस्ते क्रीडा महोत्सवाचे उद्घाटन झाले. सकाळी नऊ वाजता खेळ सुरू झाले. त्या दिवशी सर्व विद्यार्थी आणि शिक्षक खूप उत्साही होते आणि त्यांच्या डोळ्यात उत्साह स्पष्ट दिसत होता.
या दिवशी महाविद्यालयाच्या क्रीडा विभागातर्फे विविध क्रीडा स्पर्धांचे आयोजन महाविद्यालय प्रांगणात करण्यात आले होते. यामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांनी त्यांच्या आवडीनुसार सहभाग घेतला. सोबतच सर्व ज्येष्ठ शिक्षक, प्राचार्य आणि प्रमुख पाहुणे बसून खेळांचे निरीक्षण करत होते. पहिला सामना लंगडी या खेळाचा आयोजित करण्यात आला होता ज्यामध्ये बी.ए., बी.कॉम., एम.कॉम., ११ वी आणि १२ वी च्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी उत्साहाने भाग घेतला. यानंतर इतर अनेक खेळ खेळले गेले ज्यात दोरीवरच्या उड्या, लिंबू चमचा, बॅडमिंटन, बुद्धिबळ, कॅरम, क्रिकेट इ. सर्व खेळ आटोपल्यानंतर बक्षीस वितरण समारंभ झाला ज्यामध्ये सामना विजेत्या संघातील सर्व सदस्यांना प्रमुख पाहुण्यांच्या हस्ते पारितोषिक वितरीत करण्यात आले.
शेवटी मा. सौ. सावित्री रोकडे यांनीही प्रेरक भाषण केले, त्यामध्ये त्यांनी प्रत्येकाला क्रीडा क्षेत्रात सहभागी होण्याचा सल्ला दिला आणि क्रीडा स्पर्धांचे अनेक फायदेही सांगितले. हा कार्यक्रम यशस्वी करण्यासाठी डॉ.मिलिंद गुल्हाने, डॉ.प्रशांत गुल्हाने, डॉ.भेंडे, डॉ. पवार, डॉ.गायकवाड, डॉ.भावे, डॉ.शामकुरे, डॉ.विजया राऊत, डॉ.व्यवहारे, डॉ.सिंगनजुडे, प्रा. बोरकुटे, प्रा. शेगावकर, डॉ.तलमले, प्रा. अग्रवाल, प्रा. कोटांगळे, प्रा. चौधरी, प्रा. सोरते, प्रा. त्रिपाठी, प्रा. महल्ले यांनी महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावली.
Women’s College Celebrated Annual Sports Festival

Vaidarbhiy Mahila Sanstha’s Women’s College of Arts & Commerce College, Nandanvan, Nagpur has celebrated Annual Sports Festival with great enthusiasm. On this special day, honourable President Mrs. Savitri Rokde was the chief guest while Principal of the college Dr. N.R. Dixit was the inaugurator of the Sports Festival. The sports started at 9:00 am. All the students and teachers were very energetic that day; enthusiasm could be easily seen in their eyes. Various sports programs were organized by the College Sports Department on this day in which students participated according to their interests. All the games were organized in college premises. Along with this, all the senior-most teachers, principal sir, and our chief guest were sitting and observing the games. Firstly, One Leg Hop match was held in which the students of B.A., B.Com., M.Com., 11 th and 12 th standards participated enthusiastically. After this many other sports were played which included skip rope, lemon spoon, badminton, chess, carom, cricket etc. After all the games were over, there was a prize distribution ceremony in which all the members of the match-winning team were given prizes at the hands of our chief guest. And in the end, Hon. Mrs. Savitritai Rokde also gave a motivational speech, in which she advised everyone to participate in the field of sports and also told many benefits of doing sports activities. Dr. Milind Gulhane, Dr. Prashant Gulhane, Dr. Bhende, Dr. D. Pawar, Dr. Gaikwad, Dr. Bhave, Dr. Shamkure, Dr. Vijaya Raut, Dr. Vyawhare, Dr. Singanjude, Prof. Borkute, Prof. Shegaonkar, Dr. Talmale, Prof. Agrawal, Prof. Kotangale, Prof. Choudhary, Prof. Sorte, Prof. Tripathi, Prof. Mahalle played crucial role to make this program successful.
